if you’re a democrat, name republicans you could vote for. if you’re a republican, name democrats you could vote for. unless you’re an uneducated ass who just pulls the party lever with no information about the candidates, there have to be a few members of the opposition party you like. i voted for Arlen Specter last year. I would vote for John McCain. If Abe Lincoln or John Heinz was resurrected tomorrow, he’d get my vote. ---

I’m a registered Democrat…more often than not I vote Republican. I am NOT happy with the direction the Democratic party has headed in, but hopefully Howie D in his new leadership position can change their course. For the most part, I strongly identify with the Democrats economic policies. I also support their environmental policies, pro-choice stance, and general support of separation of church and state. I despise the Democratic party’s weak stance towards criminals, their anti-gun party platform, their aversion to military spending, and some of their social programs (affirmative action, ect).
