Need: Digital Camera (4+ MP)  
Price: \<$200  
Terms: Decent -to- Good Brand/Model  
Vendor: Retail or Internet  
Warranty: Not Concerned  
Deal Breaker: _Has_ to be a USB rechargable battery

Looking for a decent, mid level digi-cam for the 16 yr old sister. Mostly BS shot’s of friends @ school, domestic wildlife, myspacing, and video capable.

Thoughts? Opinions? Reviews? Links?

Birthday in two weeks.

^^^ word, I \<3 the powershots

had an entry level PS a310 and loved it… the only regrets were no optical zoom and no shutter speed control, other than that though, took some great pics :tup: clarity and color was outstanding

sub 200? just pick out something you like holding, cuz they’ll all be about the same quality/features/etc in that range.

nikon coolpix somethin or other…tnhey are terrific and shoot great shots…and a very good prive and also have a vid feature and have a sport mode for fast action shots…good choice in my opinion

nikon coolpix are awesome cept my s6 was 400 bucks not 200.

either a coolpix or a canon powershot

Since when did any self respecting digicam nerd assemble for budget cameras?

Canon Powershot would be a good choice, or an Olympus SP-510
