# digital cable or Direct tv

well, we never installed the dish. We called to have our cable cancelled and they offered us the same package we have right now for $20/month for the rest of '05. So that saves us a little over $300/year from the dish, and I would rather have the money than more tv channels. So next year when the deal runs out, i’m calling back and telling them I am getting a dish and maybe I can get the $20/month deal again. 😃

i love retention efforts, i am a sucker for them…

I couldn’t pass it up.

When we called direct tv to tell them to cancel the install, they said ok and cancelled. I was hoping to get the dish for $20/month. :D:D:D

personally i think dish is better…cheaper, & better picture quality.  
i’ve had direct for a yr & its only gone out maybe twice & only for a couple of minutes duing those bad storms we got this past spring/summer.

from what i’ve seen…dish/direct have a couple more channels then digital cable…some movie channels, discoveries, etc…
