My timing belt broke, where do you get blow up from? I didn’t do anything, it was about 20 mph when it happened.

The damage from a broken timing belt is pretty similar to an overrev though. Either way, valves = ouch. I’d be worried with the F20c that the pistons might have taken a hard hit though. I think most guys on s2ki get away with just a new head.

IDK, because it’s common car terminology?
A broken timing belt is practically the same damage as overrev.
usually whenever you have a dead cylinder, it’s “blown up”?
i say my Subaru is blown up… and i still drive it.

my b. lol 6 pages later. should i edit it?
im buying my dad a $3000 dollar 24,800 mile engine out of a car that got rear ended. there is no core charge and that means his motor is getting torn down and stroked/rebuilt and put aside for the 'yota
