# Directv DVR question.

I have a Directv DVR and I know it takes a little longer for the guide to pop up and to switch channels than my basic box but lately it has taken about 10 secs for the guide to pop up then when I try and go to a different station its takes about the same amount of time. Also when I try and input a channel number it moves so slow that it only registers the 1st number i hit then when it goes to that station it registers the 2nd number. Any ideas here on how to fix it or do I need a new box? I’m going to reset it in a little after i’m done with a program. Thanks in advance.

What model do you have I know there was some recommended tricks for certain models.

All fixed. I just reset it and it works great now.
