# DirecTV Folks - Quick Q

are any of you having issues with the non-HD channels on a widescreen TV? My 4:3 stations are narrow. It looks as if the horizontal is scunched. My HD stations are fine. Anyone else having this problem?

everything seems ok on my 4:3 tube

standard def looks fine on my widescreen. Check your aspect ratio?

check to make sure native is set to off, then adjust it on the remote.

The option is under menu, settings, HDTV, somewhere in there.

I got it working now. Some how the aspect ratio got set to auto on my TV. Weird. All good now.
