I already have 2 monitors attached to the dock.

Tech question for a pondering tech guy. Is there a quick way to use the laptop monitor as a third screen when I am using a docking station with 2 monitors. I have 2 widescreen 24in monitors (1 through vga and other through dvi).

Any suggestions

Would depend on the dock/computer model/capabilities but I highly doubt it.

Most laptop makers restrict there GPU’s for two display at a time unfortunately. One option is some laptop makers like Dell have a two dock options the higher end option will typically have a PCI/PCI-E port for a extra video card which could facilitate a third monitor.
