I think the best way to look at this thread is to realize that everyone is different and will cope with this differently. However, the one thing that everyone seems to have in common is that, regardless of the activity, you should just stay busy. You know what you like to do, so just do more of it. There’s nothing wrong with feeling all bummed out either. Don’t think that you should be fine a day after going through this. We’re all human, and for the most part, we’ve all got some kind of emotion…that’s what makes us human. Hurting is part of healing, learn from it and time will take care of the rest. ---

i feel you pain. me and my girlfriend and best friend of 2 years just ended it. we bascially just grew apart. We are trying to remain friends. we still talk almost every day. she is taking it alot worse. lots of drinking and such. go figure she is taking it harder yet it was her idea for the breakup. meh ---

I’m going to stop trying to make sense of it I guess, going to use alot of advice out of this thread, and try to hang out with some more people to keep my mind off things. Im a night hawk tho, I dont ever stay on a normal sleeping schedual, so from 2 - 5 am is the hardest. No movies on , no good shows on, no people to bother, it failsss haha. ---
