**This was a progress thread in another forum… this is a summary of all my posts** I’ve finally motivated myself to make a display for my car when it’s placed in shows. Since my modifications seem to change almost on a daily basis, I would constantly have to update posters if I went that route. Instead, i think it would be more creative to incorporate a 9" LCD display. The LCD is one of those digital picture frames that I just save the pictures/videos to a SanDisk Card and it loops through them while playing music. This saves me a lot of breath at shows trying to explain all the little details I fabbed on the car. Also, this is a great way to show before and after pictures. Plus video and pics with music is a great way to get captive attention. I have an extra caliper lying around…so i decided to incorporate it. I want the display to have a more personal touch specific to my car. Not just a universal looking display that just anyone could have. The entire assembly was cut out of 1/4" thick 316 Stainless Steel sheet that was about 24"x23". Put it together quickly to check my clearances and everything looks great. I will also be adding a ‘hat’ with some bolt heads to help make it look more realistic. I received the aluminum “hat” that makes the rotor appear to be a 2 piece rotor. I rounded the edges a bit then took them to get Anodized Gold. As a follow up…the display really worked well at grabbing attention from passers by and showing all the “behind the scenes” stuff involved with all the DIY’s. It serves its purpose… AND it help get my 1st place in the show. ---
