_ **NOTE** _ May 27th Drift Practice CANCELLED
You don’t know how hard it is for me to say this but May 27th Drift Practice at TMP will be cancelled due to circumstances beyond Drift Lords and Toronto Motorsports Park’s control.
Most of you probably know what’s happening at TMP but for all those that don’t here’s the scoop. The road course was scheduled to start operations in early 2006, TMP was waiting for the township council to grant licensing after going through extensive reconstruction over the 2005 season to comply with safety/zoning regulations. Unfortunately the license has not been granted yet therefore we are forced to cancel the May 27th event.
I wanted it as bad as you did!
We do have scheduled dates next month and we do expect the course to be open by then.
We’ll keep you posted on the situation as it unfolds

I wouldn’t really call this “drifting”… This is a lot like the stuff DriftNation used to offer.
It’s more of a practise for people who don’t know what they’re doing yet, I’d recommend the people who wanna get started on drifting to go to this event.
I’ll have to pass though…

Hey guys…thanks for the responses…this session is open to all levels…since it is our frist session we want to get a gauge of where everyones skill level is at.
Future sessions will be adjusted to fit the needs of the drivers. I would strongly suggest coming out even if you`re not driving, its a great way to meet local drivers and talk.
Most events have the regular groupies so it would be nice to meet more 🙂
No skidpad, full track, TMP…FINALLY!
Again…if you havent registered to [www.DriftLords.com](http://www.DriftLords.com) forum please do so…helps me keep email addresses organized.
