At least try to stop him from killing himself. Even if you have to suck up and be a friend till he gets some kind of help. I’d rather suck up and help someone I hate save their own life rather than sit back and let them kill themselves. ---

exactly I don’t want that to happen either. As much as I don’t want anyone to commit suicide I can’t just carelessly toss myself into it and have him take me out with him. ---

I can see where you’re coming from…but I dunno…I wouldn’t try to make amends with him, to have him invite you over for some dragon game, only to have you shot in the face. BUT, who knows, you don’t know what could stir up if you talk to him, I say, leave it as is, let him make the move. ---

You could play it as everyone would assume the same, my friends and I were all ridiculous - though very congenial in high school “Hey guy obviously all of us were dipshits in highschool and for what its worth I apologize as Im sure I said stuff to everyone that was out of line…” then just ask what hes up to? idk ---

Say sorry. He will appreciate it, even if it doesn’t change shit between you. Off topic - There was a kid in my HS who had been shit on since day one of life. When he hit the school systems it got worse exponentially. At first I joined in on the hate-fest and then realized how stupid it was. I debated saying anything to him, although I finally apologized. I then made sure people didn’t do a thing to him as long as I was around throughout our remaining years in HS. Flash forward: I then run into him recently and I cannot tell you how great full he was for just approaching him back then, let alone taking action in his defense. Being a shitty person sucks. And people should hear an “I’m sorry.” ---
