# do you know your blowoff valve sounds?

i want to buy a blowoff valve that sounds like the one in 2Fast 2Furious (skyline in the first race)
instead of the " Psssshhhhh" sound it went “Cha Cha Cha cha cha”
am i making any sense???

Compressor surge isnt that bad… Wouldnt be the route i would go tho. I belive the hks ssqv makes the sound minus the un-healthy surge

hahahah yeah that awesome sound is the sound of your turbo committing suicide.
The sound editor on that movie probably has no idea what compressor surge is.
The closest thing would probably be an HKS SSQV

its just a compression surge, I wouldnt bother getting a bov unless you are running a aftermarket turbo at real high psi. If anything bov cause more problems then good, your really not going to get any damage from compression surge unless your running crazy psi, and even then it would take a long time to effect anything.
The only reason the hks ssqv is making that ChaChaCha sound is because its not doing its job and turbo is still fluttering, its rather pointless.
^ They dont even use bov’s in those high power cars and I am sure those guys know what they are doing lol.
