Pretty much.

Big studios don’t want to take risk anymore with fresh material, which now became independent movies job, but simply try to milk as much as they can from old material. Essentially what the car industries did when they simply “remake” a new versions of old popular cars.

Because for every Hunger Games, there are probably 20 John Carter…:rofl
