I wish the cable plant here in Tonawanda wasn’t the worst around. Everywhere else in WNY it should already be ready for full Docsis 3.0
And I have the January New Hire email, saw your name on it. I didn’t know you were that new.

Man…I really think It’s time to switch. It would be worth the extra money I think. I do like the $20 internet rate I’m on now though. UGGGG. Cheap or fast, flip a coin?
I should add this is over 802.11g with the AP up on 2nd floor and I’m downstairs. Wired would be a better test but I’m too lazy to go up to my server. LOL

My digital Cable has been sucking a dick too, drops channels once and tells me to try again later, usually go to and from it a few times gets it, or unplugging the box once a week has helped.
Always had “techs” out here, slowly but surely the problem was found not to be in my house but “between” the poles and there’s nothing they can do.
Customer service gave me the line once “we can only guarantee your speed will be faster than dial up”
Fios has all new shit in the area now, but NO sabres in HD or CBC.

I decided to RDP to my server. It did about the same…just eeked out 2.89 down. I am resigned to the fact that my internet sucks. I wonder if my frags would go up on MW2 with a better connection. Hrmmmm. I need an excuse to get cable.

At least I have decent speed at UB. This is during clinic hours so much of the bandwidth is being used up. Later at night I have really good speeds.
