# Does .999999 = 1    vPOLL

that logic is flawed. you cannot say “this has been Mathematically PROVEN as being equal due to it being impossible to prove wrong.”

that would be like saying, “it is proven that there IS a god, due to it being impossible to prove that there isn’t.” or, “the soul lives on after he body dies, because you can’t prove that it doesn’t.”

your logic is terrible. it really can’t be proven or disproven, numbers are stupid, and the repeating decimal is stupid. why do you think rounding was invented?
