>
> i remember seeing pickup trucks with plastic interior, so its not like trucks are the greatest things interior wise either.
>
> and your truck(quik) is fast straight line(for being heavyly modified, you have a different motor correct) but theres alot other aspects to vehicals. if you wanna do a real world comparason like handleing , braking, gas milage etc. id be more than happy to put my stock all motor type R against your heavely modified truck. now im sure you’‘’ say your truck wasnt built for all that stuff" to back out of it(or some other excuse when your challanged) but its on the table if you wanna give it a shot.

i can handle for being a truck, IAS and drop helps along with a good stiff sidewall, as for breaking i got some decent brakes [cam does pull vacum but stil lstops]

yes motor swap is modded in those terms

as for racing a neon, its about class and not worth the time…sorry

as for a civic…please show me a civic or other 4banger that weighs in around 3400lbs and can turn a 12 unboosted. cause now youre dealing with weight

i have a car thats lightend but not sure i want ot finish it. anyone can built a car like that. takes alttle more to push more weight and go same times. youll get more attention going 10s in a truck then you would a typical camaro

Parish is known world wide, how many cars go 10s daily? Black sheep isnt as known to some as Parish but he was the first to go 9s and will be known. Fuck im known on the net with my truck.

then you have diesels which some are knocking on 11s and they weigh in how much? shit 9k in weight going 12s is insane but then you have 2200lbs going 10s… woopie do, you can built a Factory 5 and go 11s with a stock motor

so thats a high end model with more options, you can get a hunday for like 14k fully loaded but still a cheap based interior. and whats the big deal with Nav? most dont need it and if its in base models then its not that big of a deal anymore now is it? its not a high end piece when it reaches shit boxes

and without rebates and etc what are the stickers on most of those cars? again too high for what they are

this makes no sense…

then show us a chevy 1500 with a 4banger that goes 12’s unboosted.

you V8 compensates for a 4bangers weight loss. :dunno:

eveything is… cars, gas, etc…its all over priced.

18-20K civic makes you cringe…a $35-$40K truck does the same to me.

ok then then why is a V8 car wthat weighs as much as a 4banger so much faster stock for stock

What cars are you picking to make this kind of comparison and why? In general lighter cars with the most power go the fastest. Bigger motors generally are easier to produce bigger power with. You chose a heavy vehicle with a big motor so why you make up all these excuses for why you shouldn’t be compared to a lighter car with a smaller motor?

so you have a actual mag with a car from the 80s that was modded in the 80s? and is the mag from the 80s to validate it? i can go thru my stacks of mags and pull out cars being modded from the time i stated, unless they got damaged in the flood we had

what cars, shit think for a second outside the import world and youll see what cars im talking about. shit not all of them have 8s some have 6s

ok bigger motors ok i got you on that one but doesnt your big block comparssion 4banger make the power a 1.8 twin cam gsr motor or something does? you wouldnt see me swapping in a 454 from the 90s [sorry i still thought this was heather sorry]

ok lets go at this like this then… get a 06 GM truck with the 5.3 RCSB with the factory locker and 373 rear on 235/75/16 tires which weighs in at 4400lbs and can turn a 14 slip from factory and capbable pulling a 2.0 60’

now what does a 06 civic do full weight im guessing 2700lbs? similar or less but shouldnt something that weighs in at 1700lbs technically be faster by a full 1.5 seconds? since in math 1/10 equals 100lbs

or a LS1 fbody that weighs in 3600lbs fully loaded can turn a high 12 and make only low 300s to the wheels when the same HP to the wheels in a car that weighs in 1000lbs less doesnt run the same or only a hair faster? in therory again it should be a full second faster

saying anything light can go fast, just takes alittle more to go fast with alot more weight…in the end light weights dont impress me that much anymore
