# DOes anyone on here have a LSX swap in an S10?

Im kickin around the 6.0l swap for my S10, and Im trying to figure out if my 4.3 4L60E will work on an LSX motor. I know the bellhousing will bolt up, but someone told me that the 4.3 TQ converter wont bolt to the LSX flywheel? Can anyone confirm this for me?

i beleive you can use the rear end… is that helpful? lol
pewter would be the one to talk to about the LSX motor and GM parts

What?..I just got a rear off him, but Im pretty sure rear ends and transmissions are completely different…
Brian did confirm that the trans will bolt up, but Im not sure that he has tried it before cause someone on LS1tech said the flywheel bolt batterns are different.

it will work,urs trans will work,u may need a converter!

Ok thats what I wasnt sure of. Some kid on LS1tech said that you have to red drill the flywheel! I didnt want to rig my shit up like that so I wanted to find out before I get to that point.

i’m not 100% sure, but i think the early ls1 flexplate may have the right boltpattern. that’s what i was told anyway.
