Canadian customs are on a serious power trip. I get detained all the time trying to pass over the boarder. I mean whats the big deal anyways? Its Canada, not like its another country or anything… ---

I got pulled over at the border once and my ex had pot on her (unknown to me at the time), the drug sniffing dog came out and everything We got away scott free, true story ---

They try and scare you so if you do have something youll just give it to them. If I ever got pulled over at the border and had something on me (I dont do drugs so it wouldnt matter) i wouldnt tell them. You gotta watch them search your car also. I heard they used to plant stuff while searching. Today is different but you never know. This weekend the girlfriend and I got pulled over coming back into the states on one of those random searches they perform. The BP Officer kept saying he was sorry and it would only take 5 mins. I understand why they do them so it dosnt bother me. When we pulled to the side we saw two middle eastern men get arrested for trying to bring guns back into the US. They were from NY also. ---

this may be the perfect opportunity to ask this question… why the fuck does rochester have a border patrol station with 12 trucks and numerous employees? i know we got them because of the ferry…but that’s gone, so i think we can divert that portion of the taxpayers money somewhere else. just my .02 i could understand if they were catching illegals from the “other border”, but that obviously isn’t the case either. ---

Same reason why Buffalo has a border patrol in the suburbs and you see the SUVs driving around our suburbs miles from any shoreline. I even saw one last night parked under grand island side of the south grand island bridge (which has no roads under it)… Personally, the whole agency is a waste of money. ---

i get shit all the time… i get accused of being a drug dealer cuz of my car… they pulled me over once, and pulled a dried rose from my glove box then proceeded to tell me that the pieces that had broken off and were in the glove box were weed… im like WTF you just pulled it outta the glove box… The rose was from my grandfathers funeral, i still even had the funeral card in the glove box… it took them testing it to belive me… i just laughed @ them they then tried to tell me my boost controller was a radar, and they were going to have to take it… when i tried to explain to them what it was, i had to show them the vacuum line and explain to them WTF it was for ---
