# Does the s13 MAF adaptor need a nipple?

All in the title. I picked up a AEM short ram intake and it has all the nipples for the hoses by the throttle body end but the MAF adaptor i have matchs bolt patterns but i thought there was suppose to be a nipple. It was a free bee that was threw in.

The nipple at the maf is a Japan only emissions thing. I wouldn’t worry about it.
