Instead of paying a fine or going to jail, Ulysses Zimmerman will stand at a busy intersection holding a sign that reads “animal cruelty is a crime.” * * * * * * County Humane Officials came up with the idea after Zimmerman claimed he had no money and did not want to go to jail. Zimmerman will stand at the intersection of McClellandtown Road and Matthew Drive in South Union Township Thursday and will perform other community service at another time. ---

I’m so glad to hear everyone’s reaction to this. I was watching the news yesterday when this story came on. They had some douchebag on there saying that this punishment was too severe—that pissed me off so bad. Glad to see that people on here are capable of thinking rationally. ---
