# Dome light

F body guys or anyone else with ideas. My camaros interior lights dome light and mirror lights will only shut off when the car is off. They stay on while driving.
Ive tried to spray the door jams with WD-40 and that did not work.
I know how to turn them off by pulling the fuse on the interior lights but this disables my power locks.
Anyone have any ideas on how or what to look at?

Has to be a bad switch.
Either the one on the dash or the door switches. Try manually operating them with a bit of force and see if that changes anything. If they are loose or falling into the chassis, they may not be breaking the connection.
I can take a look at for you sometime if you ever wanna stop by derrick.

Ill try that, in a little bit otherwise i may have to stop because im trying to sell the car and im trying to fix all the little problems.

It was actually a wire that was grounding out on the rear hatch lock. :tup:

was my first guess too, until i looked at the car and there weren’t any. Must be incorporated into the locking mechanism…
