Ahhh, the rare VTEC model of the Eclipse. I heard that the RS was not originally going to be the entry level Eclipse. The VTEC began production but was cuts shortly after a midget worker was killed on the assembly line. His name was Scotty. So they cut the VTEC model for the RS (remember scotty). And so you have it. The few VTEC models that made it to market are very rare indeed. Not to mention valuable.

as i was reading i was trying to figure out where you were goin with the scotty reference. just thought it was someone short on this board. like sam or something. he’s a midget right? and it works with remember sam. :doh:

I was drunk and listening to Scotty Doesn’t Know at the time. That’s where the Scotty thing came from.
