i’ve probably sold, bought shit 50+ times from this site, and have dealt with a lot on honda tech. i’ve never once been scammed, nor would i ever do the same. reputation means too much, and it always means a lot when someone else puts in a good word for you. on nyspeed, w/ your employer, a company you want to work at, whatever. honesty is always #1. ---

To clarify a few things …That y8 motor came out of my 98 ex shell, it was blown with zero comp on cyl 1 when i got the car and thats why i swapped it out. The motor was givin to cky89 for lending me his tools to finish my swap. He knew it was blown and wanted it to build for his ef shell that he recently bought. He ended up selling the shell and the blown motor to ashort who was well aware of the condition of the motor. ---

I’d say if after 10 days you dont get your money back…beat his ass. Or file a police report if you have a reciept that doesn’t say as is on it. ---

Did you pick the motor up a his house? If so at least you know where he lives. He obviously scammed you, but if it’s true he doesn’t have a job maybe he is desperate for money? Not saying it makes it right, but it could be the reason. ---
