Man, you guys get up in arms over silly shit… Kevin, glad you got off. Sounds like you were pretty lucky in this case, but hey, if you got the time to fight it, then go for it… Last ticket I got, I just called my lawyer. He went to court for me. No school, no points, reduced to a $75 parking fine. Paid him $200 for his time. Yeah, it’s some upfront money, but I literally had to do nothing…with as much as I’m in and out of town, there’s a value there for me… ---

I’m pretty sure there’s officially no such thing as a fix it ticket and it’s just at the discretion of the DA and the judge. Sounds like he got off because he got his inspection done and was a decent person in court. ---
