my girlfriend got a double din pyle pldmn65 and she has a 03 tiburon , we are suppose to take it to best buy tomarrow to get it installed. But i know they wont bypass the parking brake ,I read from a few places that if you hook the brake bypass to a ground that it will override the whole parking brake thing. Also there is a reverse gear wire on there , can anyone tell me how or where these two wires go so i can save her the 100+ to get it installed i know what to do with all the wiring just not these two wires … thanks ---

the reverse wire is used if you had a rear view camera. you would connect it to a reverse light so the deck could engage the camera when the vehicle is put in gear. depending on the unit, just grounding the ebrake wire might work ---

ok thats what i thought it was for wasnt sure tho thanks , any1 else got any suggestions on how to do this parking brake thing besides grounding it ? ---

All i need to know is how to bypass the aprking brake for the audio . Can i ground it or do i have to buy something for it ? ---

ok i bypassed the parking brake , the video works but there is no audio but i knowi hooked all the wires up right …any suggestions ? ---

you probably didn’t hook all the wires up correctly if there was audio with the factory radio and now there isn’t, or your radio isn’t working. Some of those tibbys have factory amps which you have to hook up the amp turn on wire (blue/white) to the appropriate wire in the factory harness. On more of a personal note, I wouldn’t want my significant other driving down the road watching a movie. ---

yea i just finished it i did some research online and found out that the infinity sound system does have the amp wire so i just ran it from the wiring harness to the stock harness amp hook up. If that makes any sense … well the point is i got it
