Watch sports center or NFL network… they will reshow it. First successful punt through upright for two points since the 40’s. Go Flutie! :tup: It was sweet. ---

Its a drop kick, which is very different from a punt. In general, for a PA or Field Goal, the ball either has to be on the ground, or hit the ground first. Place kicking became the common just because it was much easier than drop kicking. Suprised to see Flutie do it though. ---

does the ball have to hit the ground? or is it just punted throuhg… i’ve never heard of this before… go fins… EDIT… go fins… and yea i know their season is over… blah blah blah… thanks for answering my question… ---

yeah the ball has to hit the ground first…thats what a drop kick is. Flutie is the man! saw this earlier on TV :tup: ---

You are comparing the CFL to the NFL? Really? lol, dude put down the flutie flakes and get off his nuts. I never said hes a loser, I said hes not a winner. If he is so amazing then why is he where he is now? This would never of happened to a manning or a brady. Flutie is small, pretty quick and a decent passer. He is a RUDY! Never gives up, tries his hardest, has good spirits, etc. but he will never be a WINNING QB. Sorry to burst your Douggie dream fantasy. ---

I’m not on his nuts…just prefer to correct ignorance. Flutie enters the 2005 season having played in 87 career NFL games, including 66 as a starter. He has compiled a starting record of 38-28 (.576), including a 23-9 (.719) mark in home games. Oh, and he is where he is now because he is 42 fucking years old. There’s a reason why no other player in the league, other than testaverde who got signed out of necessity, is still around at that age. ---
