# Drift-Box .. Anyone?!

Hello All,
I am super bored at work. And, since they blocked access to son240, I will be on this forum alot more. I just hope this one doesn’t get blocked as well. _crosses fingers_
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone on this forum happened to use the Drift Box. Apparently what it does is it measures your drift speed, drift angle and rates it. LOL
See how bored I am? Just out of curiousity, just wanted to post a chat about this. I didn’t really search to check out whether someone wrote about it or not though. heh.

LOL they blocked access to son.
Cant say ive herd of “drift box” before tho. Sounds like one of those things
they try and sell on horsepower tv, G-pro or something like that?(the one
that measures 0-100 times etc)

^ lol… actually, i was watching one of the BMI (Best Motoring International) / Best Motoring japanese videos, and Kazama himself was promoting the product. It probably does work.
There must be some mechanism inside the box that reacts to certain g-force and can accurately measure your drift angle.

^ lmao… so thats your secret!!! i think something is broken with your machine, since the angle thats coming out on the machine is actually opposite of the angle you’re actually getting, when looking from the outside… HAHAH, j/k jacky

one of the hot version episodes i watched had the driftbox unit attached onto kazama’s car and nobuteru’s car and comparing their two data’s
pretty interesting stuff.
they have very different suspension set ups and it shows by speed and angle…
i also heard that they were going to use it for D1 and Formula D for judging but havn’t heard anything about it since… maybe it was just a rumour

To me…a drift box is 4 cones set up in a square to drift around to get big pracitce donuts going… anything elese is no idea.
