Wayne and Kendrick, I know you guys stated the event is going to go on wheather it’s rain or shine but it does look like we’re going to expect alot of precipitation on Saturday. According to the Weather network, we expect close to 40-50 mm of rain through out the day with rain being at heavy times from 8am to 6pm. I was wondering if the owners of shannonville will open the track for us? I remember a couple of years ago we had a similar situation and the owner decided to close the track down because the fields were to wet and dangerous if anyone were to go off.
What are your thoughts on that?

I was just about to bring this is up. This is by the sounds of it a lot of rain coming. Water staying on the truck, swamped run offs and more can you confirm the event will be running.

hey guys, just got off the phone with the track. Weather reports are calling for 50+mm of rain on sat, we will not cancel the day but move it to next weekend Nov 1st. Preliminary weather data says next weekend should be sunny for 3 days.
so to recp…NOT CANCELLED, MOVED TO NOV 1st
Lets start a new list to see who can make this one…Im not going to end the season without a proper VIP day! Woohoo

If you guys want a fix Anna from SGR is holding a kart day:
If you are still looking for a “fix” I’d like to extend this opportunity to everybody. SGR will be holding a karting meet this Sunday October 26.
It will be open to males and females of all ages and experiences. The karting meet will run from 10:30am to 1:30pm at Grand Prix Kartways and will include 3 sessions at a cost of $50/person. At the regular price of $25/session, this is a great deal that we’re very excited to offer to everyone.
Our track walk, light theory and instruction will be also available beforehand from 9:30 - 10:30am
