How many of you guys Drift and how many would make the drive out to Vancouver (Abbotsford, BC actually - TradEX Convention Center) for the First EVER Commercial West Coast Canada Drift Event.
Hosted by the same promoters from Driven to Perform. =)

Since I can’t make the Seattle trip, I think I may be able to make this trip!! I dunno bout drifting tho, not enough power in my KA to do that!! But would be awesome to go and watch!!

Hey Guys, here’s a little update after meeting with Ken Miyoshi from Mainstream Productions (LA).
Features a Vendors / Car Show section
Drift Exhibition by Pros
Drift Instructional headed by Taka Ono and his gf Yoshya (sp?)
Amateur Competition Judged on 4 criteria.
Drivers Capacity is 40 registrants and a waiting list.
Up to judges discretion whether you will be eligible to compete during the instructional.
Must have valid driver’s liscence and 19+, unless have parental consent (form signed on-site) and liability release form.

Their Online Registration is up for Drift Participants at [www.driftshowoff.com](http://www.driftshowoff.com)
however to participate in the car show portion , the online registration doesnt seem to be working, I’m inquiring about that and waiting a reply from the promoters.
it is $110usd to sign up for the Drift Portion.

This is a confirmed event for Saturday August 20th.

If you guys plan to participate for the Drift Instructional and Competition.
Please do so ASAP as there is a limited number of drivers. The most drivers that can be registered is 40.

We are now just counting down the days.
Its this weekend ladies and gentleman. =P
For those who Registered for Drift.
Registrations and Check - In begins at 7am and Tech Inspection Commences.
Arrive no later than 8am as the mandatory Drivers Meeting takes place.
9am you walk the course and are divided into Group A and Group B.
930-1ish is your Instructional period.
2-5 is the Amateur Competition
530 awards are announced distributed

if your coming to check it out, I believe gates open to the public at 10am.

Yeah, I just got the course layout and it looks to be alright (altho I dont drift so it could really be not good at all. lol).
Remember… Try to be there at 700am =P
I will be at the NWN Booth, and our model Nikki Gertsch will be making an appearance as well. Stop by and say Hi in the afternoon after your Drifting Session will ya?
Nikki is the one in the middle.
Are you needing a place to stay if your coming down on friday night?
I’d be willing to offer my bunk for a fellow nissan enthusiast.
I’ve got 2 guys coming up from Seattle for the weekend stayin at my place.
