I was just wondering if anybody has any idea if its safe to drill into the floor under the passenger seat on a S13.

I’m trying to put an amp in, and i want it under the seat.
Thanks

If I were you I would find another way of mounting it to the floor, maybe a bracker ot velcrow because you might get rust around the holes you drilled.

Why do you have to mount it. Most amps are heavy enough to stay in place. That’s where mine is, it doesn’t move around. Unless you’re going to be performing stunts with your car, it should be fine.

Just use something less invasive then drilling. Duct tape? You won’t see it anyway lol.

One thing to keep in mind … make sure you don’t kill it with heat! Under the seat could be pretty hot depending on how powerful the amp is …

Yea I decided against the drilling in the floor. I just stuck it under the seat. If I find it around the back seat i’ll proably try the velcro.
Thanks guys.

Please just make sure the amp doesn’t turn into a projectile if you crash.
