# Driver side wiper

my passanger side wiper is working but not the driverside. i looked in and the arm going from the driverside was off right where it joins the passanger one, i dont feel any threads tho. i managed to push it back on but at the moment nothing is really holding it from falling back off.  
any thoughts?

i think there are some plastic bushings that wear if i can recall. you can buy a new bushing or do what 240’s are known for, twist tie it. I would sujest going to the scrap year and picking them up (free).

get new pivots and arms. nissan still sells them. unless you can find a s13 with a good set…and not break them taking them out.

I was suggested by another member when i had this problem to pop the arm back on and get a torch in there and heat the plastic up till it starts to melt around the metal ball. This will stop it from popping off constantly. I had already had plans to buy the whole assembly otherwise i would have just done that.

yeah heat it up thats what i did its been 2 years hasnt popped off .

i have mine ziptied on… they usually only last about 200 wipers or so though…
