> The extra challenge can be fun around town, but not on a long trip. There’s no up side to extra fatigue and less progress when you’re just blasting down an interstate trying to get somewhere.
>
> Plus I want to stab people who drive with their flashers on to let you know that it’s snowing. “Thanks for the heads up dick fuck. Your 4 ways are supposed to indicate that your vehicle is disabled, not that you are. We all know it sucks out, we’re on the same fucking road. Now turn your flashers off unless you just pulled buses on a civic.”

you’re supposed to use 4 ways under 35 on the thruway.
I think it’s 35 anyway… might be higher than that. Ever notice when trucks merge they use their 4 ways if they’re not up to speed yet?

Like everyone else said… I don’t mind it, but I don’t enjoy how much longer a commute takes when there’s a foot of snow out.

I love the snow for short drives or drives around town. I pretty much hate the rain, but nothing is worse IMO than heavy rain at night. I can’t stand looking through rain and oncoming headlights while driving. SNOW FTW!!

The only time i’ve used my 4 ways is when it was a complete whiteout , and there’s already a shit ton of snow on the ground. Just to alert other people that suck at driving. Not because i’m nervous for myself lol.
awd + turblow +snow tires is fun. driving in rain is not. I have a convertible, why the fuck would i enjoy driving in rain.

I pay attention to weather like a hawk, when I know a bad storm is about to roll in… I go out chasing it with the wife, LOL.

one day my goal is to see a bad ass tornado.

also, when getting blasted with nasty snow storms… I will go out for random drives in the WRX, awd is super fun in thick snow!

Everything except TORRENTIAL downpours, love anticipating, and chasing/eluding storms and inclement weather.

i love driving in the rain. snow is iffy. depends where i’m going. i used to have to drive from irving to dunkirk on poorly lit roads at night, during snow storms. it wasn’t fun. couldn’t see the road, and the wind from the lake made it even more terrifying.
