# Driving My R30 Home From BC

So,
i flew out here to Vancouver yesterday, had to stay over night to wait for new tires to be installed.
But now the car doesn’t start…
And for some reason i can’t fill the gastank, fuel just sits in the filler neck and can take many hours before it drains into the tank. we’re thinkign the vent line is plugged.
After pulling into the hotel for the night, i shut the car off, checked in, went back out to move the car to the undergound. no dice it fired up, died and hasn’t run since. initally it sounded liek the car was suckkign air instead of fuel, but Despite filling the tank a bit and stoppign the sound it didn’t solve the problem.
now theres no spark…
just a quick update on my wonderful luck…
keep watchign for picture update of the drive whenever i get to start it…

hey if the gas issue is a clog on the neck then fill it from the truck…JDM cars have no rust on the sending unit covers it might take 30 mins max…
whats the reason its not starting? fuek / spark ?? call if u need help.

filling the tank isn’t a serious problem i can deal with that. but theres another problem
other than it takes for ever to fill up the main problem is the ignition. currently we belive the Ignitor/ ignition transistor is shot…
the part is the same as one from an 84-86 sentra and includes the coil bracket…
one from an s12 might also work.
for those of you who may know bc well i’m in vancouver on marine drive
anyof you who know someone who can help out in the area give me a shout and i’ll toss u the number. internet access is hard for me here so get it from someone i know.

hope you can get it running soon. Did you clean out the gas lines and all that jazz before you started it? it could have jelled up if its been sitting for ages.

nah inland frieght is rediclous expensive, it’s more money than shippign from japan lol. even after paying for everytihgn that’s gone wrong it’ll be basically even. and i get a sick road trip

make sure you have the igniter grounded properly.I remember wit my car i grounded the igniter and still , i wasn’t getting any spark, so i had to ground a wire from the chassis and then run it to the igniter and then i was able to get spark .

yeah don’t worry i’m takign care of that, right now were checkign the distributor tho cause theres no signal to injectors ethier.
