Does Calgary or the surrounding-area have any type of racing schools? The only one I have found so far is something small put on by a member of the Calgary Sports Car Club. ---

It is designed so that you acquire new driving techniques in a progressive, organized manner with close expert supervision. You will have the opportunity to drive your own car and to gain an understanding of your vehicle’s unique handling characteristics while developing a new found respect for your car. People of all skill levels have attended my events for a variety of reasons and refined or developed new driving techniques regardless of their previous abilities. I got the same email. I’m seriously looking in to this for next spring. Is it possible to ask for a club discount if enough people are interested in it? I know it’s a lot but I kind of look at it as an investment and a good way to push your cars limits. If we can get a club discount or some thing that would help ---

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you very much! Hopefully the track doesn’t get closed, I didn’t even know about that. I’d be up for taking it in the spring for sure ---

Actually it is very popular and unlikely to get closed. I might also make the trip this year - it sounds damn tempting! 😃
