i decided to go to the local vw dealership for the hell of it today to check out the tdi (thinking of possibly getting a mkiv golf tdi). the only one they had in stock was a white jetta wagon with a 6 speed. man the car was pretty dam nice inside (it’s german, so it has to be), and the torque was awesome, even in the higher gears. i think if i had to get a new car id much rather get this than the 2.0t. ---

golfs are tough to get right now in TDI… we’ve got ton’s of sedans and wagons but if your looking for a golf your better of to wait a few months until they get released in mass quantities ---

I’ve got a mk4 tdi golf and I love it. Excellent mpg’s and power to boot. Mine is quite a bit faster then the new tdi’s. I’d love to get a white mk6 tdi with the bi-xenons and the dsg ---

the only down side to the golf tdi’s is that they cost almost as much as a jetta sedan and the jetta sedans have way more use-able room but their is a market for it and they are very nice ---
