ok, so here’s the deal. My roomate, (female, 6’0 145, dnt know if that matters) habitually takes bars of xanex (most powerful, seldom uses footballs but sometimes, pillhead, I know) through her nose. Now, I have taken Xanax, as pill form, but I have never taken anything through the nose. Now, my roomate, last night, drank enough alcohol to physically stumble while having a 20 sec cnversation with me. She left after I asked if she as wasted. She said “Cooley, I’m fine!”. I said “ok” but I was still somewhat skeptical. Fast forward to 2am she is way more wasted than before. I didn’t even ask. Now, since I’ve lived here she has never NOT come home. Now, my friend(who was with her, who knows my dissapproval of sniffing Xanax) calls me and asks me if she ishome? I said yes, but didn’t get hme til 9am. She says my roomate txted her at 8am looking for a place to stay (5 hours after she left her). So I wake up minutes after she passes out on the couch. My friend, who as w her, says she pesonally saw her do 2 bars. And this doesn’t mean none was consumed here. Now this is habitual, and really, at this point no one has confronted her. What should I do? Anyone know long term and/or short term effects of sniffing Xanax and mixing alcohol on aregular basis? ---

she won’t learn from her own actions she will get super pissed at you for telling her that she has a problem she will not stop this will get ugly the repercussions of abusing drugs severely and mixing with alcohol? Her liver will fail at some point. She will likely get taken advantage of and raped. but, talking to her is the right thing to do, so you have to, regardless of the outcome. ---

If you really care about her, get her into a detox or rehab or whatever. They have one at ECMC I’m pretty sure. If she keeps acting like this, she’s going to die. Especially with the alcohol mixed in. And if she doesn’t overdose, she’s going to get raped or some shit, if she’s staying out late, etc. What happens when she passes out, and some genius really does fuck her? Kind of like in Kids, the movie. Ew. ---

you need to get her off the candy… if she uses xanex bars and drinks enough she will die.considering xanex is extremely addicting i suggest you/her stop before it becoms more than a recreation. ---

She has a serious problem. I just don’t know if there’s anything YOU can do about her problem. :\ ---
