I will most likely framing out the basement soon and need someone to do the drywall after the electrical is ran. All that needs to be done is just the wall no ceiling beside like 1’x4’x8’ area of bulk head. There is a small section of the stair that has plaster that will need to be drywalled also. I can buy all the material and have them at my house but just need a hand in hanging them etc. ---

taping and seeming doesnt have to be done by a pro just by someone who knows what they are doing ---

taping and seaming is easy for seams lay a decent layerof compound down, put down a strip of paper…i wouldnt do more than like 4-5ft at a time… put a thin layer over the tape,. and then start from one end to another and the squeeze all of the excess compound out. do this twice for inside corners, put a thin layer on the bottom, thicker layer on the top.fold the tape in half,again like 4-5ft sections, and put a layer over the top of the tape (part that is on the ceiling) and squeeze all excess out. Do not go over the bottom(parton wall) until the second coat. ---

FTW^ I know what im doing and would never hire someone. A simple room is…simple When you get into cathedral ceilings, archways, etc etc…then you might need a “pro” ---

i look at like this, this is my logic, when i am woking on a car i would not do the body work or the paint, BUT i would mount all of the panels. ---
