I’m shooting a wedding august 1st for a friend that is at the end of their financial strings, and while I could just use my 40X with built in flash and fumble with changing lenses I am hoping I can borrow some stuffs from someone here. I am not planning to do this with any regularity so I really don’t want to buy an external/hot shoe flash just for the wedding, and I can’t justify dropping cash on the 18-200mm lens at this point… So, i’m looking to borrow a better flash, either hot shoe powered or something external but easily portable since I will be constantly moving. Also, a broad range lens like the 18-200mm nikkor VR would be stellar (don’t even know if anyone on here has one). Since its a 40X it needs to be AF-S ☹ unless someone wants to donate their camera body also. I am super careful with my electronics and will obviously pay to replace anything if it is in any way damaged… I know this is a long shot but I feel bad shooting the “most important day” of someones life with sub-par shit. ---

It would be a good way to try out a lens before you buy a nice L or VR lens. Good luck. ---

Cool man LMK. I do not for see anything going on that day. I obv dont have a wide zoom range lens, but quality \< functionality as far as im concerned haha 😉 ---

those are $$ i didn’t fully expect someone to have one but figured i’d give it a shot. my biggest concern was the shitty 40X sensor inside and shitty built in flash. ---
