1997 eclipse gst north carolina car no rust or winter leather, sunroof and of course mods Apexi N1 exhaust 3", Stillen 3" dp,Stillen short shifter, K+N filter, custom cold air box, hard upper and lower intercooler pipes, Greddy bov, Walbro 255lph pump,front and rear strut bars,old Apexi Safc, Apexi avc-d boost controller, boost gauge and a/f gauge Sound, MTX 2ch(subamp) MTX 4ch(high), 2 sets OZ 6 1/2 seperates,10" sub. 63,xxx miles needs timing belt put in. has good tire and brakes Needs pass window lock switch put in(have it but not installed yet) lock button not working on that side, ---

crankwalk affected all 2g years but it’s a random thing it’s not that every car gets it, you just gotta have bad luck to get it. 2g 5spd trannies only downfall is the center diff the trannies are built rather well with double banded 1-2 and 2-3 gears. ---

i doubt you’d get it for that…people know that kids are looking for these things now, hell jackie paid 9 for hers and it’s a 97. you’d be lucky to get it off that kid for under 10 i bet ---

i would avoid that car… and all other 2g DSM’s. (that arent equipped with a six bolt that is) ---

Crankwalk is over-rated. And if it walks, get a 6-bolt short block and drop it in. Don’t be a pussy. Crankwalk is no reason to not buy a car. ---

Sorry man, i disagree. why would you buy a car that expensive that you know is going to need a motor put into it. If youre gonna go that route, buy a 2g that has a blown motor or a flood car and save yourself tons of cash. ---

You’re taking a chance with something major going wrong with every car you buy. And, if you look around, you can pick up a 6-bolt short block cheap, or, even better, buy one with nothing in it and build it :blue: ---
