I once was quite interested in a Highlander for the wifey. This was at Northtown. The droid kept trying to tell me how I didn’t need the V-8. “It’s just as powerful and get double the mileage…you can tow just as much…you don’t want the V-8” and so on. How the fuck does he know what I want? He was so perisistent that I finally walked out and bought a Subaru. They had a bunch of 6’s on the lot and I guess they were trying to get rid of them. I once went and wanted to test drive a 5 series BMW. Guy kept talking about how it was expensive and I should look at a 3 becuse it was more in my price range. We never talked about how much I wanted to spend and the price of the 5 was ~10% of my annual income at the time. Anyway, with the “magic of credit” just about anyone with a decent job could buy one. Retard. ---

^ well, aren’t all modern engines hemi’s now, anyway? (to a point…literally…haha) The word has lost it’s meaning, IMO. ---

while car shopping with boosted3g sales man\_ whos driving? me- i am tom - ok 🙂 later on- you know, its the DRIVER that gets the ticket ( as we do 80 down seneca) and at south transit sales man- its never been wrecked (as i point out the pinholes in thge filler on the door to him) ---

best salesman i had was when i went to look at a Volvo S40 T5. he just threw me the keys and said see you in a while. and it actually did turn into a while since i just moved to the area and proceeded to get lost on my test drive. i hate talking to them anymore than necessary for all the reasons above. ---

Test drive in a WRX there was some rally guy who wanted to go shotty with me, so Maria was in the back. Basically we sped the whole time, I drifted the off ramp, causing him to panic, then he looks in the back to see Maria just looking out the window, he says “Are you ok?” She kinda laughs, and says… i’ve seen him do better. I smirk at him, and when we get back to the dealership I ask to take out the new 6spd Tibby… fun car i guess, but there wasn’t enough room for him and her, so he stayed behind. When I got back he checked all the tires and wheels wells for rubber. Rolling burnouts don’t do that much damage 😉 ---
