# Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec

Anyone have any experience with these tires?
I just went through my second set of RE070s (only lasted about 8k miles  ), and would love to get another set but theres no takeoffs available and i’m not paying the retail price for them.
Its either these or Azenis but right now i’m leaning towards the dunlops.

have them on the miata and am extremely impressed with them. i have so much grip its amazing…well comparing them to my other tires that is

They’ve received lots of praise from the street tire autox’ers, even took top pax at our last local event in the rain.
I think alot of the subaru sizes are back ordered now if thats what you are driving.

I checked tirerack and they have the 235/45/17 in stock at their one warehouse, so I might pull the trigger tomorrow since I need new tires ASAP.
Anybody know any places that could have them locally? I tried dunntire and they have to order them.
Also, what kind of tread wear have you guys been getting on them? It would be great if these tires would last more than one summer lol.

got them in the spring/early summer went to 2 auto-x and one track day so far on them and they seem to be wearing ok. i dont drive to many places mostly to work and back some highway use every so often

When you say wearing ok, about how much tread do you have left. Like 50%? Could you get another summer out of them?

of yea i will, i would say i have around 75% ish left…just an estimate but yea i will get another year out of them, i dont drive the car hard besides the track and auto-x so take it as you will

i use them for drifting sometimes when i have spare money to get nice tires and they are awesome! its the only tire i buy brand new.

they have a taller side wall and are a little wider than the azenis too
