Don’t think so, and suppose to be apply to a clean surface.

> 1. Must I clean the surface before applying the lubricant?
> We recommend applying our lubricants to a freshly cleaned surface. Our products contain “binding agents” which help the lubricant adhere to the surface. If there is residue from a previous product, the binding agents will be compromised.
