Aaron, thanks for going through all the data and posting the pics. I probably should have come in after Reid’s Spec V cuz I kinda cheated by pulling in 3rd gear :oops:
Rob, if you get the dirty engine award, I want the rusty wheels and fenders prize!
Jared, did you start a thread on the Apex forum that you wanted us to add to?

Question: What is it about Evan’s car that gives him significantly more peak torque than Aaron’s and Scott’s cars?

Scott has a 1.8 so that should explain it’s deficiency. Most boost at peak torque rpm as Mike suggested is the cause for Evan’s mountain. Aaron had some detonation trouble which prevented full power.

Amen!
Too bad we won’t likely have enough Z32s to make a team of four. But I’ll be up for anything. We should be able to enter at least two teams of four Nissans from NECC altogether, hopefully more.
Anyone remember how many teams we had last year?

Thanks again to Aaron, Jared and the Apex boys for putting a great NECC dyno day!
Shouldn’t I get some sort of award for the least powerful car with the most factory boost award… hahaha?! I was told by Adam that the March was putting a steady 14/15 psi when he was doing the runs.

But hey You don’t need alot of HP for that thing, do the math I bet you come in first on HP/Kg ratio or damn close to it.

Yeah, you like that? lol. Man, it took a while to go through everyones charts, pick out the highest numbers, compare them to all, then put them with the photos. Glad you like it.
Yeah, Evan’s huge torque is kinda a mystery, but could be related to his 17psi pulls.
As for mine, like Jared said, I was detonating like crazy, so we played it safe and lowered the boost.
Everything went real smooth at the event, and I’m pretty proud.

I felt bad about missing the NECC Dyno day, so I figured I’d post up my numbers from today. I think some people might hate me after they see these.
1984 300zx Turbo - 247.71whp, 354.11wtq.
Yes you did read that correctly, that’s 354 rear wheel lb/ft of torque.
The red run here was at about 11.5-12psi, the blue run was at 12.5-13psi.
