i was wondering if anyone knew how to rig up an e brake cable for cheap. as of right now i need the whole thing replaced and i priced it at 100 bucks for parts. has anyone rigged one up before or have any ideas for me? ---

$100 seems cheap enough. Fix it right the first time instead of jerry rigging some shit out of bicycle brake cables. ---

Call NAPA, Autozone, and Advance for replacements. ALWAYS call several stores for pricing since it may differ quite a bit. You cant really rig a brake cable effectively. ---

the only thing ive ever rigged was the adjustment collar. that was simple as pie with stainless hose clamps. But for a 100 just do it right ---

Also try [www.rockauto.com](http://www.rockauto.com) if you aren’t in a hurry. I haven’t ordered from them so I can’t really say if their customer service is great, but I found their prices were a lot better than the local stores on some stuff. ---
