Hopefully it will be all put back together this week!! Not in the picture (well, barely visible in the trunk) is the smoked MHW tails and front turns, euro bumper trim. I decided to go sort of hybrid-mtech2 and keep the plastic front and rear bumpers but with the lower valances and combine that with the e36-m3-style side skirts. Color is E60 M5 Sepang Bronze Metallic. The guys at the shop keep teasing me about my “brown” BMW 😉 The “bright” areas around the windshield are just a reflection of the area UNDER where the glass will be, they sanded / painted into the edges so you won’t see the original white - I am putting on black trim and we’re painting the window trim to “shadowline” it (I had wanted to get OEM pieces but the used ones for sale all seemed incomplete). Windshield broke coming out but the old one was badly pitted from age/miles and the glass guys felt bad so they are really hooking me up. I am getting a new black headliner put in by a local shop and eventually might get black carpet. We left the under-hood stuff alone, it will get sandblasted and painted black when I get around to saving up for a swap (probably next year, I’ve been debating euro s52 vs other options, don’t need stupid power). The paint job also serves as a nice reminder to me that it’s my DD not a race car lol… Every time I get tempted to gut / cage / strip it the whole “… but you JUST repainted it!” argument can steer me clear… So far I’m VERY excited to see the rust fixed and the new paint!! ---

Very nice choice on the color. Kind of like a darker pewter color. Looks sharp from what I can see. ---

hot. still not a fan of the sideskirts though are you putting a spoiler on the trunk lid too?! euro s52 is a hot swap. 280hp, itb’s out of the box. I can’t tell, but is that cardinal interior? forgot to add: very hot project overall. :tup: ---
