I had the old cats removed today. The inside was all broken apart, which caused the blockage. The rubber o-ring, between the air box and MAF, was missing when I got the car. God only knows how long this thing was on a leaf and dirt diet, which most likely explains why the head was replaced in December. How could the garage that replaced the head not catch this obvious problem…then again, they didn’t put any of the bolts back on the intake brackets, reused rotten vacuum lines, a cracked TB elbow, and used one bolt to hold on the CCV instead of the three it requires for a sight seal.
