Welp, today we succesfully put on my new ported polished manifold and got a good running E85 tune into it!! I drove to platsburgh from albany after filling with the E85, swapped the manifolds and i couldnt believe in how little time it cleaned up the cylinder heads just from where it had sprayed in. They looked brand new. Feels a lot stronger on it as well, way more than E85. At 5500 rpms we have the timing at 30.55, usually guys with these pigs have it around 17.00-19.00 max. Im the second LX modle from what we in the mopar queer know to do this. No one may care but i am pretty pumped!! Track tomorrow to see what the new changes can do! ---

I have at least 2 stations within 5 miles of me, it just makes sense to run it. Unfortunately the price has gone up due to the cold weather blend (its more 70/30 this time of year). ---

No numbers yet. May try to get on the dyno at ASS this week or next. Got a nice unlawfull operation ticket on the way home from getting this done so, i have to try and fix that ASAP. I do have to go to wolf rd to get the fuel and it does suck but, not the worst thing ever. It would be great to have one on our side of the river. I was very suprised as to the difference just by the butt dyno on the ride home and driving around yesterday. Everyone on the mopar forum i go to is in shock and says its an awful idea, E85 is horrible for the engine and will rot my fuel system and blah blah. Im just anxious to hit the track saturday, sucks it rained out yesterday. ---

That’s a bunch of bullshit, I get tired of hearing it myself. I’ve been running E85 since 2007 on a stock fuel system. Methanol is harsh, ethanol is tasty with orange juice. ---

The only truth you here on a lot of forums anymore is more or less teh fuel consumption rate of e85 vs fuel, rest of it for the most part is uninformed BS ---

sounds lik a cool setup!! i wana run e85, JDANIELS whats involved with runing e85 and how much powerz does it add meaining is it worth it? im pretty sure im guna do my other car with it but was thinkn about doing it to the camio ---

My car is definitely stronger on e85, but I do not dyno my car every chance I get like Drew so I don’t know the actuals. Theoretically it should be worth about 5% more power without adjusting timing. ---
