# Eagle H-Beam Position

Does anyone now which direction the numbers face on Eagle H-beam rods.

should they face the center of the engine, or a particular side??

The chamfers face the fillets. period.

no, no. not what i mean. i’m talking about the orientation of the rods.

does the number side face towards the center of the block, or towards the sides of the block? there’s only 2 ways they can go in.

If you look at your large end you’ll notice that one side has a slightly larger chamfer. That must be place facing the crank fillet. If you have an aftermarket crank expect to clearence your bearings for the enlarged fillet. Quit looking at numbers and such.
