Yeah, I was joking with that comment. Moist soil like what the galleria is built on is actually a much higher earthquake risk due to liquefaction.
I talked to my grandmother who lives right near the NY/Quebec/Ontario border and she didn’t feel a thing. My uncle who lives next door however ran over to her house to see if everything was ok because apparently it was bad enough up there to knock a couple pictures off his wall. Grandma tends to miss things in her old age I guess. :lol:

I felt nothing while a couple of contractors I have to babysit did feel it.
Along with coworkers in other buildings.
I think i’ll go find Geoff and talk about it.

ya i felt it here im in chatham, ontario… was walking around trying to figure out whymy fridge was shakking and the frezer was open… that was weird…

I felt it at my work in North York too, entire office building was shaking… first time I thought someone was jumping on the floor… second time like 30 seconds later everyone in the office was like alright, wtf is going on… Then about 20 minutes after we all felt a small rumble… nothing like the first 2.

I was out on the boat today and it was super calm, then all of a sudden we started seeing waves and the water got real rough and then stopped. It was so bizzare, now i know why.

About 5 minutes after the quake I was pissed that I didn’t think to look at the little lake next to my office. Like an idiot I was too busy watching the glass of water on my desk slosh around.
