They evacuated a lot of the buildings in Lower Manhattan. I was outside and a bit dehydrated and figured it was that plus the drinking last night hahaha. ---

Department of Homeland Security has issued a statement advising all east coast residents within 200 miles of the earthquake epicenter to seek shelter away from the ground floor of any building and to refrain from traveling on any part of the earth’s surface unless you are, or are in the company of, a cowboy hatted Kevin Bacon. ---

My best friend was in the middle of his second day on the job teaching in VA when his room started shaking. Minimal damage but they have no school tomorrow, not a bad way to start the year lol. ---
